REPORTING FOR WORK ALLOWANCE. 28.01 Employees reporting for work at their regular scheduled time, unless advised at least ten (10) hours in advance not to report, shall be provided with at least five (5) hours work in a ten (10) hour day or shall receive five (5) hours pay at their current regular hourly wage rate. This provision of pay in lieu of work shall not apply in the event of fire, lightning, storm, flood, power failure, or mechanical breakdowns, beyond the Company’s control, or other causes such as strikes, and work stoppages in connection with labour disputes.
