Common use of Reporting Misconduct Clause in Contracts

Reporting Misconduct. Any individual participating in provision of IDEA/Part C services is required to report misconduct to IDEA/Part C State Office within five (5) working days by way of a formal, written complaint (see procedures for Family Rights and Safeguards). If at any point, any individual who reasonably believes that an EIS provider is posing an imminent risk of danger to children, parents, or staff should report the information to a local law enforcement agency or South Carolina Department of Social Services and then to IDEA/Part C State Office within twenty-four (24) hours.
