Reporting Off Work. Employees shall report each day's absence from work by telephoning the answering service (or other designated telephone number) no later than two (2) hours prior to the scheduled starting time on the day of absence. In the event of an emergency, employees shall report their absence as soon as possible. Unless other arrangements have been made, an employee must call in on each day of absence. In the event no substitute is available, the Administration may cover for the absent employee in lieu of splitting the class/group. The Administration may also assign other qualified staff to cover a class/group during an employee’s absence.
