Representation on Committees. 11.1 The Employer agrees to have the Association represented on the following Committees set up by the Employer:
(a) Training Committee
(b) Travelling and Subsistence Committee
(c) Honorarium Committee
(d) Anomalies Committee and any other committee which may be set up from time- to-time and which directly concerns members of the Service.
Representation on Committees. Unless otherwise prohibited by applicable Law or regulation, for so long as any Principal Stockholder’s Proportionate Percentage is at least 5%, such Principal Stockholder or its Partial Rights Transferee, as applicable, shall have the right to representation on each committee of the Board or otherwise appointed by the Board (for the avoidance of doubt, including the “Committee” appointed pursuant to the Management Long-Term Compensation Plan) in the same proportion as the number of Directors, if any, nominated by such Principal Stockholder or such Partial Rights Transferee, as applicable, bears to the total number of Directors (the “Committee Rights”).
Representation on Committees. A. The Union shall furnish a list of eligible teachers from the appropriate grade level(s) or subject areas who meet the criteria established by the Board to serve on each committee or other organized group that requires teacher participation and representation.
1. This list will be provided to the appropriate administrator within seven (7) days after the written request is received by the Union.
a. The written request will include the criteria and the number of teachers needed for the committee.
2. Failure of the Union to provide the number of teachers needed to serve on the committee within seven (7) days after the written request shall permit the appropriate administrator to designate other teachers to serve.
B. Teachers who accept such appointments will be released to attend committee meetings that are scheduled during the workday at no loss of pay or accumulated leave after the approval of such request by Human Resources. Teachers, if possible, will devote time beyond the regular student day in order to serve on such committees.
Representation on Committees. It is specifically understood that curriculum study committees or any similar committees shall not make recommendations which impact upon a teacher’s hours, wages or other conditions of employment except as said recommendations are mutually agreed upon by the Board and Association.
Representation on Committees. District committees will be established to provide a forum for communications and to deal with select matters of mutual concern during the term of this Agreement. All such committees so established will be subject to the following guidelines:
1. The committees will consist of members of the District administration, members of the Bargaining Unit and may include other members representing additional stakeholders as designated by the Superintendent of Schools. Members of the bargaining unit will be appointed by CMNEA. The District and CMNEA will establish the purpose, scope, rules and procedures for the proper functioning of the committees.
2. Committee recommendations, if any, will be made in writing by January 15 if consensus of the committee has been reached, shall be advisory in nature and will be made to the Superintendent of Schools, with a copy provided to CMNEA. For the betterment of the school district, the Superintendent will weigh with due consideration the recommendations given by such committees.
3. Committee meetings shall not be considered contract negotiations.
Representation on Committees. UNM shall maintain a Resident Council that has a responsibility for advising on and monitoring all aspects of residency education. House Staff Officers selected by their peers shall serve on the Council. HSOs selected or elected by their peers shall, upon request by the Union, participate in committees regarding resident education and patient care. HSOs who serve on any committee shall be notified of the date, time, and place of the committee meeting in advance. Within a reasonable period after the signing of this Agreement, the Resident Council or the Union will identify the HSOs selected to serve on resident education and patient care committees, including the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC). HSOs shall select alternates to sit on the committees identified above, to ensure continuity of HSOs’ involvement and participation. HSOs shall make every effort to attend committee meetings as long as attendance does not interfere with patient care duties or learning. The Union agrees that the HSOs will select or elect HSOs to participate in the GMEC and that the HSOs selected or elected by their peers for this purpose or their alternates, must and will attend each meeting of the GMEC, absent good cause shown.
Representation on Committees. 49.1 The necessary arrangements shall be made to have the Fire Service Association represented on the following committees set up by the employer:
(a) Training Committee
(b) Any other committee which may be set up from time to time and which directly concerns members of the Fire Service Association.
Representation on Committees. The Board of Trustees for the Pocatello/Xxxxxxxx School District No. 25 is committed to providing opportunities for Bargaining Unit members to be involved in various District standing committees. The Association shall have membership on all committees listed below. Substitute coverage for committee attendance shall not be at the expense of the employee or the Association. For the 2020-2021 school year, the standing committees which shall have Bargaining Unit involvement will include the following: District Leadership Committee Curriculum Committee Instructional Technology Committee Textbook Adoption Committee Insurance/Wellness Committee Calendar Committee Budget Committee Safety Committee Key Communicators Other ad hoc committees Student Disciplinary Programs Extra-Curricular Activities Stipend Committee The dates, times and locations of each committee meeting will be provided to the Association
Representation on Committees. A. If a management-initiated committee has Unit 6 employees participating on said committees or in its meetings, and/or the committee is developing a plan or policy on issues within the scope of representation, CCPOA shall be provided a seat on the committee. The work of said committee shall not be in any way construed as "Meet and Confer" as defined under the Xxxxx X. Xxxxx Act. A copy of official minutes, when taken, of said committee meetings shall be provided to the CCPOA representative on the committee.
B. Only CCPOA's headquarters may negotiate or designate someone to negotiate any issue, whether statewide or local, under the Meet and Confer sections of the Xxxxx X. Xxxxx Act or this Agreement.
C. The State shall not negotiate with or enter into memoranda of understanding or adjust grievances or grant rights or benefits covered by this Agreement or within CCPOA's scope of representation unless such action is with CCPOA's written concurrence.
Representation on Committees. All teachers will receive one (1) school building and/or district related committee assignment before any one (1) teacher receives a second assignment unless he/she has volunteered to do so. It is specifically understood that curriculum study committees or any similar committees shall not make recommendations which impact upon a teacher’s hours, wages or other conditions of employment except as said recommendations are mutually agreed upon by the Board and Association.
