(Request for Job Classification). A. An employee who feels that his/her current job description does not adequately cover assigned major duties and responsibilities may complete a form prescribed by the Employer for this purpose, and submit it to the Human Resources Department. A copy of such form shall be provided to the appropriate elected official or department head by the Human Resources Department. B. Within twenty (20) working days, the Human Resources department will review the position description and assigned duties. If it is determined by the Human Resources Department that there is no significant change in the evaluation, the Employee will be promptly notified. If a change in the evaluation indicates a position upgrade, such action will be submitted to the Board of Supervisors for final approval at their next regularly scheduled meeting. C. If the Employee is dissatisfied with the results, he/she may request a detailed explanation of the evaluation process. If required, monthly meetings will be scheduled by the Human Resources department for this purpose. The Human Resources Director or his/her representative, the Elected Official or his/her representative, the Employee and a representative of the Union, if requested by the Employee, will be in attendance. It is understood that the decision of the Board of Supervisors based on the Human Resources Director's recommendation is final.
