Request for Professional and Other Leaves of Absence. Academic employees shall submit a written request for leave under Article XIII, Sections C and D, to their unit administrator. Upon receiving such a written leave request, which does not require Board action, the unit administrator will notify the academic employee in writing of his/her approval or disapproval within five (5) days. If Board action on such a written leave request is required, the unit administrator will notify the academic employee of his/her recommendation to the College President within five (5) days.
