Common use of Request for Proposal (RFP) Clause in Contracts

Request for Proposal (RFP). Request for Proposal" is the name given to a document issued by the District Representative or Architect requesting pricing information and/or an adjustment in the Term of this Facilities Lease for a described scope of work. An RFP is not a Change Order or a direction to proceed with the scope of work described in the RFP. Contractor’s response to the RFP shall be in the form of a Proposed Change Order (PCO).
