Common use of Requested time off of one Clause in Contracts

Requested time off of one. (1) day or less shall be requested at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance unless in an emergency situation which must have the specific approval of the immediate supervisor. Requests for absences of more than one (1) day shall be in writing and at least seven (7) days in advance. The DISTRICT agrees that it will grant such time off, provided that such absences do not seriously affect the operations of the DISTRICT.
