Requests and Approval. Requests for personal leave will be made and approved in advance based on the availability of substitutes. Requests for personal leave to be taken during the first or last two days of any semester, on a PIR day, or in extension of a scheduled day(s) off, shall be submitted to and approved in the sole discretion of the Superintendent or his/her designee.
