Requests for alternate work schedules. An employee or group of employees may submit to their supervisor a written request for a work schedule that is different from the employee’s existing schedule. Such requests shall be granted or denied in writing based on individual and unit needs. Open dialogue is expected regarding the reasons for granting or denial. Employees and supervisors should strive to meet the varying needs of alternate work schedule requests as individual and unit needs are considered.
