Common use of Required Physical Examination Clause in Contracts

Required Physical Examination. The School corporation may require any teacher to have a physician’s examination at any time when permitted by law to determine fitness for duty. The employer shall cover the teacher’s out of pocket cost for such an examination. If the required examination results in the teacher being cleared to remain in or return to paid status, the teacher shall receive his/her regular pay for any days of work missed due to the employer exercising its right to require the examination by having any such days missed deemed administrative leave days with no loss of sick leave, sick leave bank, or personal business days.
