Common use of Reroute Clause in Contracts

Reroute. (viii) A re-route that only applies to a change to the Saturday portion of a route the following formula will apply: Pre re-route Saturday income per day minus post re-route Saturday income per day multiplied by five (5). Pre re-route income will be calculated by taking an average of the last five (5) Saturdays worked. Post re-route income will be calculated by taking an average of the first five (5) Saturdays worked. A re-route that only applies to an abolishment or elimination of the Saturday portion of a route the following formula will apply: Pre re-route income multiplied by five (5). Pre re-route income will be calculated by taking an average of the last five (5) Saturdays worked. Note: The above principles are subject to local discussions. In addition, there will be discussion regarding definitions required to be worked out on terms such as incumbency, facility reroute, etc.
