Common use of Research Funds Clause in Contracts

Research Funds. A. The NCAA will contribute five million U.S. dollars ($5,000,000.00), over a period not to exceed ten (10) years, to research the prevention, treatment, and/or effects of concussions. These funds are in addition to any funds the NCAA has already spent on concussion research as of the Effective Date and must be used to fund research that would not have occurred absent this Settlement Agreement.
