Common use of Residence Check Clause in Contracts

Residence Check. In/Out Residents must check in with the Family & Graduate Programming Assistant or another Student Housing and Residence Life associate within the first 5 business days of their move-in. In the event that the Resident fails to complete the aforesaid process, the premises shall be deemed to be in a state of immaculate condition. The report generated is kept on file by Student Housing & Residence Life for the purpose of comparison to the check-out inspection at the end of the Resident’s term. Any changes to the physical condition of the premises or residence property that are deemed to have resulted from unacceptable use by the Resident will lead to additional charges and will be billed as per section 7.4 of this Agreement.
