Residence FeesThe Resident must pay the “Residence Fees” in accordance with the Rates and Payment Schedules detailed in Table 4 for the right to occupy a Room during the Term. Tables 2, 3 and 4 also detail additional Fees that the Resident is subject to, including the cost of Extended Terms. If a hard copy of this Agreement is required by the Manager, the Resident is required to select one of the payment schedule options, by initialing their desired option.

Residence Fees. 10.1 You must pay the Residence Fees during the Period of Residence on the dates and in accordance with the payment terms set out in Schedule One. 10.2 Your obligation to pay the Residence Fees on the dates set out in Schedule One applies: 10.2.1 WHETHER OR NOT you move into the Accommodation; and 10.2.2 irrespective of when you actually move into the Accommodation (even if this is on a date later than the dates on which you are obliged to pay the Residence Fees); and 10.2.3 irrespective of individual course dates which may start later or finish earlier than the Period of Residence. 10.3 If the whole or any part of the Residence Fees remains unpaid in breach of the payment terms, we will charge you £15 to cover our administration expenses for each letter that we send to you, acting reasonably, chasing you for payment of any Residence Fees arrears.

Applications require a mandatory non-refundable $75.00 application fee. 2. The Deposit is $500.00. 3. The total amount payable for the Academic Year 2022-2023 and Three Term Academic Year 2022-2023 includes a mandatory non-refundable $60.00 ($30.00 per semester) Residence Life Activity Fee, which subsidizes events and activities organized by the Residence Life Staff and Residence Council. 4. Academic Year 2022-2023 and the Three Term Academic Year 2022-2023 Payment Schedule Options (b) and (c) include a non-refundable $150.00 administration fee. 5. A mandatory meal plan of $2,500.00 is required for first year residents of the Academic Year 2022-2023 and Three Term Academic Year 2022-2023. Additional Meal Plan options are also available. A mandatory meal plan of $1,250.00 is required for first year residents of the Winter Semester 2023. All payments made to the Residence for the Residence Meal Plans are subject to the Terms and Conditions of Algonquin College Food Services. Residence Fees. Residence fees include accommodation from 24 hours prior to the first day of their academic session until 12:00p.m. noon on the day following the Resident’s final day of the academic session. Residents who are offered a space in Residence five (5) business days or more after the start of their academic session will be charged a pro-rated fee and the move in date will be stipulated in a separate email from the Residence Office. The remaining balance must be paid prior to moving into residence. All overdue payments are subject to a $75 late fee. The $500 deposit is non-refundable and non- transferable. Residence deposits act as a down payment towards a student’s total residence fees.
Residence Fees. By entering this Contract, you hereby agree to pay the residence fees for your first month accompanied by your Summer Residence Application. Subsequent payments are due on or before the first (1st) day of each month. Please note: meal plans are not included in the summer contract. For U of M students: Residence charges, including monthly lease payments and miscellaneous charge items will appear on a student’s Aurora account and are due on the first day of each month of occupancy, regardless of summer enrolment status or posted summer tuition fee deadlines. ICM or other summer guests must pay residence fees in-person at the Xxxxxx X. Xxxxx Residence Office. All students and guests are permitted to pay summer residence fees by VISA or MasterCard, however these payments can only be made to the Student Residences department directly at the Xxxxxx X. Xxxxx Residence Office. The Cashier’s Office will not accept credit card payments. If payments cannot be made in person, we also accept VISA and MASTERCARD over the phone or mailed cheques and money orders. All cheques are made payable to the University of Manitoba. We do not accept postdated cheques. If you choose, or are required to change your residence accommodation after you move in and the room rate increases, you are required to pay that difference at the time you receive your new keys. Failure to pay your residence fees in full on or before payment deadlines will result in the following actions:  Residents with an outstanding balance will be assessed a $50.00 late fee charge. U of M students will be also be placed on “Hold” on their Aurora account.  Residents who have an outstanding balance of $350.00 or more after the payment deadline will be issued a warning letter of an impending lock change. This letter will state that full payment of the account balance is required. If this condition is not met, a lock change will occur (at the resident’s expense) exactly one week after the letter is issued and will lead to a forfeiture of your residence accommodation.
