Resident's Duty. The Resident shall maintain the premises in a clean and neat condition at all times; free of trash, debris, and rubbish; participate in activities intended for the safety of all Residents such as orientation on emergency evacuation/routes, fire response/escape system, use of fire extinguishers, and any other deemed important by the Landlord. Any illegal activities or violations of the House Rules shall be grounds for termination of Agreement and potential inclusion in any report to the Police on criminal activities; including expulsion from the Facility.

Resident's Duty. Resident shall immediately notify Landlord of needed repairs by sending written notice to the Landlord at the address listed above. Resident agrees to keep the Premises clean and to comply with all duties imposed on Residents by the Resident Handbook, state and local law, this Agreement and the attached rules and addendums. The provisions of the Residential Landlord Resident Act at RCW 59.18 apply to this agreement. Resident shall be liable for any damage to the Premises caused by Resident’s acts or neglect other than normal wear and tear. Resident shall also be liable for any damage to the Premises caused by a family member, invitee, licensee, or any person acting under Resident’s control. No tobacco, alcohol, drugs, storage or use (including smoking) is allowed on the Premises.

  • Local Residents (a) A local resident is an individual who resides within a seventy-five (75) kilometer radius of the centre of a job site which is beyond daily commuting distance from Edmonton or Calgary or other locations where a hiring hall is located, and has resided within such radius of the site for a period of not less than six months prior to being engaged on the project. It is understood that the hiring of local residents shall be subject to the hiring procedures and prerogatives set out in this agreement.

  • VISIBILITY OF FUNDING FROM THE OFFICIAL DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE Unless the SAIDC requests or agrees otherwise, any communication or publication made by the Final Beneficiary that relates to the action, including at conferences, seminars or in any information or promotional materials (such as brochures, leaflets, posters, presentations in electronic form, etc.), including tangible assets acquired from the project must: (a) indicate that the action has received funding from the Official Development Assistance, SlovakAid and (b) display the SlovakAid logo. When displayed in association with another logo, the SlovakAid logo must have appropriate prominence. The obligation to display the SlovakAid logo does not confer on the Final Beneficiary a right of exclusive use. The Final Beneficiary may not appropriate the SlovakAid logo or any similar trademark or logo, either by registration or by any other means. For the purposes of the first, second and third subparagraphs and under the conditions specified therein, the Final Beneficiary may use the SlovakAid logo without first obtaining permission from the SAIDC.

  • Resident Responsibilities The Resident agrees to pay all fees specified, to observe all rules and regulations of the University of Connecticut and to abide by the Responsibilities of Community Life: The Student Code, this contract and any addendum, as well as other University publications/policies. Residents assume total responsibility for their room/suite/apartment/house and for the behavior and activities which occur within all assigned living areas. Applicants and/or residents cannot exchange money or favors for a room assignment. Failure to fulfill the terms of the above may lead to termination of this contract, removal from on-campus housing, and a community standards process resulting in a sanction, including but not limited to expulsion.

  • Residents In accordance with the provisions of all applicable state and federal statutes, as amended from time to time, the Manager shall use its best efforts to maintain the resident census at the Facility in such numbers and in such a manner as, in the Manager's judgment, will tend to maintain the financial stability of the Facility and will comply with the covenants in any Financing Agreement.

  • Resident Nurse A registered nurse whose clinical experience after graduation is less than six (6) months, or a registered nurse who is returning to practice with no current clinical training or experience. A resident nurse shall be assigned under the close and direct supervision of a designated preceptor(s) and shall have limited responsibilities as defined by the supervisor. Residency shall not exceed six (6) continuous months unless extended in writing for an additional three (3) months when mutually agreed to by the Employer and individual nurse involved. A resident nurse who is required to function continuously without close and direct supervision and who is assigned the same level of responsibilities as a staff nurse shall be compensated at the staff nurse rate of pay. Nurses working under close and direct supervision shall not be assigned charge duty or as a team leader without a staff nurse being present in the unit, except in cases of emergency.

  • Conflict of Interest Contractor Personnel 2.5.1 The A-E shall exercise reasonable care and diligence to prevent any actions or conditions that could result in a conflict with the best interests of the COUNTY. This obligation shall apply to the A-E; the A-E’s employees, agents, and relatives; sub-tier contractors; and third parties associated with accomplishing work and PROJECTS/SERVICES hereunder.

  • Contractor Certification regarding Business with Certain Countries and Organizations Pursuant to Subchapter F, Chapter 2252, Texas Government Code], Contractor certifies Contractor is not engaged in business with Iran, Sudan, or a foreign terrorist organization. Contractor acknowledges this Agreement may be terminated and payment withheld if this certification is inaccurate.

  • Montana Residents A Montana resident may cancel his or her Associate Agreement within 15 days from the date on which this application is submitted and may return his or her sales kit within such time and is entitled to a full refund for the sales kit and for any other consideration he/she paid within such time period to participate in the program.

  • Conflict of Interest – Subrecipient’s Personnel The Subrecipient shall exercise reasonable care and diligence to prevent any actions or conditions that could result in a conflict with the best interests of the County. This obligation shall apply to the Subrecipient; the Subrecipient’s employees, agents, and subcontractors associated with accomplishing work and services hereunder. The Subrecipient’s efforts shall include, but not be limited to establishing precautions to prevent its employees, agents, and subcontractors from providing or offering gifts, entertainment, payments, loans or other considerations which could be deemed to influence or appear to influence County staff or elected officers from acting in the best interests of the County.
