Resignation and Retirement Notice. Except for an emergency, any teacher desiring to resign at a time not specifically authorized by Xxxx. Stat. Ch. 122A (April 1 in even numbered years and July 15 in odd numbered years) shall submit to the Human Resources Office a resignation and request for release from contract not less than forty-five (45) days prior to the date on which the release is to be effective. A release from contract will be granted at the discretion of the School District.
