Resignation or Retirement. 10.1.1 The Employee may resign or retire by giving not less than 3 months written notice to the Company. The Company may pay the Employee for the notice period in lieu of notice, or require the Employee to work some of the notice period and pay the Employee in lieu for the balance of the period. 10.1.2 The resignation or retirement is effective on expiry of the notice period notified in accordance with clause 10.1.1.
