Notice of Resignation or Retirement. 18.01 Where a Teacher intends to terminate the Teacher’s employment with the Board for any reason, the Teacher shall give not less than thirty (30) days notice, provided that the Teacher shall give notice on or before November 30th or May 31st when the Teacher intends to leave the employ of the Board at the end of first semester/term or before the start of the following school year respectively.
18.02 Nothing herein prevents an employee and the Board from mutually agreeing to the employee’s resignation at any time.
18.03 Notwithstanding Article 18.01, the Board shall not unreasonably withhold consent where the Teacher has provided a minimum of thirty (30) days written notice of their intention to resign/retire.
Notice of Resignation or Retirement. A. Except in an emergency employees are required to give ten (10) working days advance notice of their resignation or retirement. Paid leave time shall not be counted as part of the ten (10) days.
B. Employees who fail to give the required ten (10) working days notice will have their entitlement to any unused paid leave time reduced by one (1) day for each day their notice is deficient.
Notice of Resignation or Retirement. (a) Employees planning to resign from the employ of the Employer shall make every attempt to give the Employer thirty (30) days’ notice.
(b) Employees planning to retire shall attempt to give the Employer three (3) months’ notice.
Notice of Resignation or Retirement. 15.01 It is understood and agreed that a Teaching Assistant should notify the Board at the earliest opportunity when he/she plans to leave the employ of the Board. Accordingly, where a Teaching Assistant intends to terminate the Teaching Assistant’s employment with the Board for any reason, including resignation or retirement:
a) the Teaching Assistant shall give not less than thirty (30) days notice; provided that
b) the Teaching Assistant shall give notice on or before May 31st when the Teaching Assistant intends to leave the employ of the Board before the start of the following school year; however
c) the Board may waive the notice requirements under 15.01 a) or b).
Notice of Resignation or Retirement. All administrators are required to give notice to the Superintendent of resignation or retirement at least thirty (30) days in advance of its effective date. Notice of resignation or retirement effective in the month of September must be filed with the Superintendent at least sixty (60) days prior to their effective date.
Notice of Resignation or Retirement. Members intending to resign their appointments shall provide the Xxxx with at least three (3) months written notice. Members intending to retire shall provide the Xxxx with at least five (5) months written notice. The normal date of resignation or retirement shall be August 31.
Notice of Resignation or Retirement. 16.01 It is understood and agreed that the Teachers should notify the Board at the earliest opportunity when they plan to leave the employ of the Board. Accordingly, where a Teacher intends to terminate the Teacher’s employment with the Board for any reason, including resignation or retirement:
a) the Teacher shall give not less than thirty (30) days notice; provided that
b) the Teacher shall give notice on or before May 31st when the Teacher intends to leave the employ of the Board before the start of the following school year; however
c) the Board may waive the notice requirements under 16.01 (a) or (b).
Notice of Resignation or Retirement. 51.1 Tenured, tenurable and fixed-term employees shall be required to give not less than 6 months' notice in writing, provided that the University can agree to a shorter period of notice.
51.2 Nothing in this Clause affects the right of the University to dismiss an employee for unsatisfactory performance or misconduct in accordance with Schedules C – Unsatisfactory Performance and/or D – Misconduct of this Agreement.
Notice of Resignation or Retirement. A permanent employee desiring to leave the service of the City shall, unless excused therefrom by the Department Head, give notice thereof in writing to the Department Head as follows.
Notice of Resignation or Retirement. No employee working under this Agreement shall resign unless two (2) weeks’ written notice is given to the Employer. The employee shall send a copy of said notice to the Business Agent of the Union. The parties hereto may mutually agree to a shorter period of notice, should conditions so warrant.
