RESIGNATION/TERMINATION. 38.01 An employee shall make every reasonable effort to provide to the Employer twenty-eight (28) calendar days’ notice, where possible, and shall, in any case, provide the Employer with fourteen (14) calendar days’ notice of their desire to terminate their employment. This notice period may be waived for reasons that are acceptable to the Employer. 38.02 If the required notice of termination is given, an employee who voluntarily leaves the employ of the Employer shall receive the wages and vacation pay to which they are entitled on the day on which they terminate their employment.
