Common use of Responsibility and Security Clause in Contracts

Responsibility and Security. 6.1 AMYS and XXXXXX are not responsible for any damage to or loss of any articles or property left at the VENUE prior to, during or after the EVENT. The CLIENT agrees to and accepts responsibility for any damage done to the VENUE or any property at the VENUE owned by XXXX or MAISON by the CLIENT and the CLIENT's guests, invitees, employees or other agents of the CLIENT. 6.2 CLIENT agrees that neither XXXX nor MAISON shall be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any kind or character to any person or property caused by or arising from any act or omission of the CLIENT, or any of the CLIENT's guests, invitees, employees or other agents from any accident or causality occasioned by the failure of AMYS or MAISON to maintain the VENUE in a safe condition or arising from any other cause. The CLIENT, as a material part of the consideration for this contract, hereby waives on CLIENT's behalf and on behalf of all CLIENT's guests, invitees, employees or other agents, all claims and demands against XXXX and MAISON for any such loss, damage, or injury. CLIENT further agrees to indemnify and hold both XXXX and MAISON free and harmless from any and all liability for any and all such loss, damage or injury to property and other persons, and from any and all costs and expenses arising there from, including but not limited to attorney fees.
