Responsibility for Customer Service Lines. The Trader must, subject to clause 29.1, include in each of its Customer Agreements a statement to the effect that it is the Customer's responsibility to maintain the Customer Service Lines in a safe condition using a suitably qualified person, except if, and to the extent that, the Distributor: (a) is required by law to provide and maintain the Customer Service Lines; or (b) has agreed with the Customer to maintain the Customer Service Lines.

  • Customer Responsibilities Notwithstanding the above, Customer agrees that except as provided by this DPA, Customer is responsible for its secure use of the Services, including securing its account authentication credentials, protecting the security of Customer Data when in transit to and from the Services and taking any appropriate steps to securely encrypt or backup any Customer Data uploaded to the Services.
