Responsibility For Damages Or Injury. 8.4.1 County and its officers and employees shall not be liable in any manner for any loss or damage to any portion of the work, any loss or damage to any of the materials or equipment used in the work, or any injury to any person or property by any cause that might reasonably have been prevented by D-BE, its employees, or its Subcontractors. D-BE shall indemnify and defend County against any claims or liability under this section pursuant to the “Indemnification Provisions” Section of these General Conditions.
