Common use of Responsibility for Tuition Clause in Contracts

Responsibility for Tuition. i. If a parent chooses to withdraw a child after the first day of the school year, it is the ethical and legal responsibility of the parent(s) to pay 50% of the remaining tuition, as well as the full amount of transportation fees (if applicable). If a child is dismissed from the school due to behavior problems and/or very poor academic progress, the parent(s) is/are ethically and legally responsible for 50% of the remaining tuition for the entire academic year (and the full amount of transportation, if applicable).
