Common use of Responsibility of the Insured Clause in Contracts

Responsibility of the Insured. It is understood and agreed that it is the responsibility of all Faculty Members to acquaint themselves with the specific details of coverage and eligibility requirements of all benefit plans, subject to having been provided with the relevant information as per Article 21.07.4. The Faculty Association and the Institute will not be directly responsible for oversights and errors made by the Faculty Members as to conditions of coverage or entitlement to benefits and to requirements for eligibility beyond the obligations specifically stipulated in this Agreement.
