Common use of Restoration of Position Clause in Contracts

Restoration of Position. On return from leave, the Board will: a) Restore the employee to the position s/he held when the leave commenced if available; or b) Restore the employee to an equivalent position with equivalent employment benefits, pay, and other terms and conditions of employment.

Restoration of Position. On return from leave, the Board will: a(1) Restore the employee bargaining unit member to the position s/he (s)he held when the leave commenced if availablecommenced; or b(2) Restore the employee bargaining unit member to an equivalent position with equivalent employment benefits, pay, pay and other terms and conditions of employment. (3) Determination of appropriate assignment will be made on the basis of established Board policies and this Agreement.
