Promotional Increment. 5 a. Any full-time faculty or professional staff member receiving a promotion to Professor (or 6 Librarian IV or Counselor IV) shall receive an increment of $4,500 in addition to any other 7 increment provided herein.
Promotional Increment. The promotional increment will be $1,000 for all 35-hour positions and $1,100 for all 40-hour positions. If an employee moves two or more job levels in either group, the promotional increment will be the minimum rate of the new position or $1,400, whichever is greater. At management’s sole discretion, it may extend an offer for a promotional increment greater than the amount provided above within the framework of the position’s salary structure. The decision by the Human Resources office to offer a greater amount, or not to offer a greater amount, shall not be grievable. The Association will be notified of any promotional increment offered in excess of the above specified amount. Any 35-hour employee who voluntarily transfers to a lower position will receive a salary reduction of $1,000 for a one grade reduction, $1,400 for a reduction of more than one grade or will forfeit any promotion increment earned within the same fiscal year. The reduction for a 40-hour employee who voluntarily transfers to a lower classification will be $1,100 for one grade, $1,400 for more than one grade, or forfeiture of any promotional increment earned within the same fiscal year.

  • Promotional Increase When an employee is promoted, the employee shall move to the new salary pay grade and shall be placed at a new salary step which provides a salary increase in an amount closest to, but not less than, a two (2) step increase in their pre-promotion pay grade.
