Common use of Restoration of Streets Clause in Contracts

Restoration of Streets. If in connection with construction, operation, maintenance, or repair of the Cable System, the Company disturbs, alters, or damages any Street, the Company agrees that it shall at its own cost and expense restore the Street according to the standards set forth in the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s Rules and Regulations for Accommodating Utilities Within Highway Rights-of-Way. If the Franchising Authority reasonably believes that the Company has not restored the Street appropriately, then the Franchising Authority, after providing ten (10) business days’ advance written notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure, may have the Street restored and bill the Company for the cost of restoration.
