Common use of Retention of Funds Clause in Contracts

Retention of Funds. No retainage will be withheld by the CITY from progress payments due the CONSULTANT. Retainage by the CONSULTANT or subconsultants is prohibited, and no retainage will be held by the CONSULTANT from progress due subconsultants.
