Retention of Research and Scholarly Materials. 17.3.1 Members shall retain for at least five (5) years research and scholarly activity materials that are within their personal control. 17.3.2 Subject to Article 17.3.1, no Member shall be dismissed for fraud or misconduct in academic research and scholarly activity when the Member cannot reasonably defend her/himself because the means of proof is no longer available due to the effluxion of time.
