Retired Deceased Officer's Spouse. The City agrees to allow the spouse of a retired officer, who dies, to continue, WITHOUT INTERRUPTION, the City group health insurance plan on the spouse and any qualified dependent children, at 100% of the actual cost to the City payable by the deceased officer‘s spouse. Upon the date of the spouse's remarriage, all insurance coverage will cease on the spouse and dependent children.
