Grievance Defined. A grievance is defined as an alleged breach of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. It is the desire of the parties to this Agreement that grievances be adjusted informally wherever possible and at the first level of supervision.
Grievance Defined. A grievance is defined as a written complaint alleging that there has been a violation, misinterpretation or misapplication of any condition of employment contained in this Agreement, or of any rule, policy or regulation of the Employer deemed to be a violation of this Agreement or a claim of discipline without just cause. Nothing shall prohibit the grievant from contending that the alleged violation of the Agreement arises out of an existing mutually accepted past practice. The concept of past practice shall not apply to matters which are solely operational in nature.
Grievance Defined. (a) A grievance means any difference or dispute between the Employer and any Employee(s), or the union.
(b) Where a dispute involves a question of general application or interpretation of the Collective Agreement, the Employer or the union may submit the dispute directly to the other party in writing, for formal resolution according to Article 9.06.
Grievance Defined. A grievance is defined as any alleged breach by the Employer of any express term of this Agreement. If any such grievance arises, it shall be submitted to the following procedure. In order to be subject to the following procedure, any grievance must be submitted at the first applicable step within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date when the employee or the Union was aware, or reasonably should have been aware, that a grievance existed. All grievances not filed within the fourteen (14) day period are deemed waived by the aggrieved party.
Grievance Defined. Any complaint, disagreement, or difference of opinion between the Company and the Union or the Hourly Employees and Owner Operators covered by this Agreement which concerns the application or interpretation of the terms and provisions of this Agreement, shall be considered a grievance.
Grievance Defined. A grievance is defined as a dispute between the parties to this Agreement concerning the interpretation or application of this Agreement or its express provisions.
Grievance Defined. A grievance is a dispute between the University and the Federation, an employee, or a group of employees as to the interpretation, application or violation of any terms or provisions of this Agreement.
Grievance Defined. Any dispute regarding the interpretation or application of this Agreement shall be regarded as a grievance and shall be subject to the terms of this grievance procedure.
Grievance Defined. A grievance shall be defined as a dispute or disagreement raised by an Employee against the Employer involving the interpretation or application of the specific provisions of this Agreement. Grievances, as herein defined, shall be processed in the following manner discussed in 6.02.
