Common use of Retroactive Salary Increases Clause in Contracts

Retroactive Salary Increases. When retroactive salary increases are negotiated, the increase in salary will be applicable to all Unit Members who are in paid status on the date the retroactive increase is approved by the Board of Trustees. 26.6.1 Unit Members who retire from the District or are laid off on or after the date the retroactive increase is approved by the Board of Trustees will also receive this salary increase. 26.6.2 Unit Member placed on the 39-month reemployment list or granted an unpaid leave of absence on or after the date the retroactive increase is approved by the Board of Trustees will also receive this salary increase. 26.6.3 Unit Members granted a military leave for the performance of military service in a uniformed service, whether such leave is paid or unpaid by the District, and provided the Unit Member is an employee of the District on the date the retroactive increase is approved by the Board of Trustees, will also receive this salary increase.
