Common use of Retroactive Wages Clause in Contracts

Retroactive Wages. 10:01 (a) Retroactive pay adjustments for the period between the expiration of the previous Agreement and the date of the signing of this Agreement shall apply to: (i) Employees who are in the employ of the Employer on the date of the signing of this Agreement; (ii) Employees who have left the service during the above-mentioned period but who have retired in accordance with the provisions of The Civil Service Superannuation Act or who have died in service; (iii) Employees who have left the service during the above-mentioned period by reason of being laid off by the Employer; (iv) Term employees terminated at the end of a specific term of employment or after the completion of the specific job for which they were employed.
