FLEXIBLE HOURS GUIDELINES. I The Employer will determine the most suitable arrangements of hours of work for employees in accordance with the following guidelines: The office must remain open during the hours a.m. to with an extension to where it is deemed necessary to provide service to the public. Variations in employees’ hours of work may occur as a result of staggered starting or finishing times or an alteration in the time allowed for lunch. The earliest starting time is a.m., the latest finishing time is and the minimum allowable lunch period is forty-five (45) minutes. Varied starting or finishing times must comprise a minimum of thirty (30) minutes prior to or after established office hours. Service to the public must not be downgraded by the change in hours. Employees must work seven and one-quarter (7%)or eight (8) hours per work day and thirty-six and one-quarter (36%) or forty (40) hours per week exclusive of lunch periods. All employees must be present at work during a core period of a.m. to less lunch periods. The normal workweek continues to be Monday to Friday inclusive.
