Return From FML Taken For Employee’s Own Serious Health Condition. 1) The employee shall provide her/his employing department reasonable notice of her/his anticipated return to work. 2) An employee who has been granted an FML for her/his own serious health condition, must provide a written medical release to return to work prior to returning to work. 3) The employee who has been medically released to perform the essential assigned functions of her/his job, shall be returned in accordance with the provisions of Section 8.1.
