Return from Work Incurred Injury or Illness. 1. Prior to returning to work, an employee granted a work-incurred injury or illness leave must provide the University with a statement from his or her licensed health care practitioner of the employee’s ability to return to work. An employee granted a work-incurred injury or illness leave shall provide the University with notice of his or her ability to return to work promptly after learning of the date of return. If a return to work specifies restrictions, the University will, in accordance with applicable law, reasonably accommodate the employees.
