The granting of a leave of absence shall constitute an automatic guarantee that the teacher, if he desires, shall be re-employed upon termination of their leave. If no extension of a leave is granted, the employee must notify the district of their intention to return to work by April 15 or twenty (20) working days prior to the beginning of the second semester.
