Common use of Review by the Bank of Procurement Decisions Clause in Contracts

Review by the Bank of Procurement Decisions. 1. Except as the Bank shall otherwise determine by notice to the Borrower, the following contracts shall be subject to Prior Review by the Bank: (a) each contract for civil works estimated to cost the equivalent of US$1,000,000 or more; (b) each contract for goods estimated to cost the equivalent of US$500,000 or more; (c) the first civil works contract procured through Shopping in a county included in the Project Area carried out by a Beneficiary Farm/park; (d) each contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm estimated to cost the equivalent of US$100,000 or more; (e) each contract for consultants’ services provided by an individual estimated to cost the equivalent of US$50,000 or more; and (f) each contract for consultants’ services procured on a Single Source Selection basis. All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the Bank.

Review by the Bank of Procurement Decisions. 1. Except as the Bank Association shall otherwise determine by notice to the BorrowerRecipient, the following contracts shall be subject to Prior Review by the BankAssociation: (a) each contract for civil works goods, works, and services (other than consultants’ services estimated to cost the equivalent of US$1,000,000 $250,000, $500,000, and $50,000 or more, respectively; (b) each contract for goods estimated to cost the equivalent first two contracts procured on the basis of US$500,000 or moreNational Competitive Bidding; (c) all contracts procured on the first civil works contract procured through Shopping in a county included in the Project Area carried out by a Beneficiary Farm/parkbasis of Direct Contracting; (d) each contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm estimated to cost the equivalent of US$$100,000 or more; (e) each contract for consultants’ services provided by an individual Individual Consultant estimated to cost the equivalent of US$$50,000 or more; and (f) each contract for consultants’ services procured all contracts on a Single Source Selection basis. All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the BankAssociation.

Except as the Bank Association shall otherwise determine by notice to the BorrowerRecipient, the following contracts shall be subject to Prior Review by the BankAssociation: (a) each contract for civil all Investment Projects regardless of value, including complete documentation regarding the process of selection of an entrepreneur, or the goods or works estimated to cost procured by an entrepreneur, as the equivalent of US$1,000,000 or morecase may be; (b) each contract for goods or works, estimated to cost the equivalent of US$500,000 $300,000 or more, and the first contract for goods regardless of value; (c) the first civil works contract procured through Shopping in a county included in the Project Area carried out by a Beneficiary Farm/park; (d) each contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm firm, estimated to cost the equivalent of US$$100,000 or more; (ed) each contract for services of individual consultants’ services provided by an individual , estimated to cost the equivalent of US$$50,000 or more; and (fe) each contract all contracts for consultants’ services procured on a Single Source Selection basisunder single source selection. All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the BankAssociation.

Review by the Bank of Procurement Decisions. 1. Except as the Bank shall otherwise determine by notice to the Borrower, the following contracts shall be subject to Prior Review by the Bank: : (a) the first contract procured by the PPMO and Project Company, and thereafter; (b) each contract for civil works and/or the supply and installation of plant and equipment estimated to cost the equivalent of US$1,000,000 $5,000,000 or more; ; (bc) each contract for goods estimated to cost the equivalent of US$$500,000 or more; (c) the first civil works contract procured through Shopping in a county included in the Project Area carried out by a Beneficiary Farm/park; ; (d) each contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm estimated to cost the equivalent of US$100,000 $300,000 or more; and (e) each contract for consultants’ services provided by an the employment of individual consultants estimated to cost the equivalent of US$$50,000 or more; and (f) each contract for consultants’ services procured on a Single Source Selection basis. All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the Bank.

Review by the Bank of Procurement Decisions. 1. Procurement of goods, works and services under Subprogram D shall be subject to Post Review on a sample basis. 2. Except as the Bank Association shall otherwise determine by notice to the BorrowerRecipient, the following contracts under Subprograms B and C shall be subject to Prior Review by the Bank: Association: (a) each contract for civil works estimated to cost the equivalent of US$1,000,000 or more; (b) each contract for goods estimated to cost the equivalent of US$500,000 $150,000 or more; (cb) all contracts procured on the first civil works contract procured through Shopping in a county included in the Project Area carried out by a Beneficiary Farm/parkbasis of Direct Contracting; (dc) each contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm estimated to cost the equivalent of US$$100,000 or more; (ed) each contract for consultants’ services provided by an individual consultant estimated to cost the equivalent of US$$50,000 or more; and (fe) each contract all contracts for consultants’ services procured consultants selected on a Single Source Selection basis. All other contracts for Subprograms B and C shall be subject to Post Review by the BankAssociation.
