Common use of Review Construction Progress Clause in Contracts

Review Construction Progress. Maintain a daily log containing record of weather, contractors working on site, number of workers, work accomplished, problems encountered, other relevant data, and additional data as specified by the District. Make the log available to the District on a regular basis and upon reasonable request. Prepare, update, and distribute construction schedules on a regular basis to maintain the Master Project Schedule. Assign percentage- complete values based on actual observation and evaluation of construction progress by the Construction Manager. Report actual construction progress as compared to scheduled milestones and specifically note any variances. Report problems encountered in accomplishing the work and recommend appropriate action to resolve problems with minimum adverse effect on construction or Project schedule. Assist contractors in preparing recovery schedules, which shall detail costs of the corrective actions and specific efforts to recapture lost time. Distribute approved recovery schedules to contractors, the District, the Architect and other appropriate parties.
