Common use of REVIEWS AND HEARINGS Clause in Contracts

REVIEWS AND HEARINGS. The Contractor agrees to advise the Director of Purchasing of all complaints of recipients made known to the Contractor and refer all appeals or fair hearing requests to the Director of Purchasing. Wichita State University has the discretion to require the Contractor to participate in any review, appeal, fair hearing or litigation involving issues related to this contract. Nondiscrimination and Workplace Safety: The Contractor agrees to abide by all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations prohibiting discrimination in employment and controlling workplace safety. Any violations of applicable laws, rules and regulations may result in termination of this contract. Sexual Harassment and Retaliation Prohibited. In accordance with Kansas Executive Order 18-04, Wichita State University has policies prohibiting sexual harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
