Common use of Revocation of Mutual Consent Clause in Contracts

Revocation of Mutual Consent. Either party may revoke mutual consent within the first semester of Year 1, in which case, the faculty member's load will be balanced in the second semester of Year 1. Either party may revoke consent in the second semester of Year 1 if the faculty member is overloaded in Year 1, in which case contractual overload provisions shall apply. A faculty member may not revoke consent after the first semester of Year 1 if the faculty member is underloaded in Year 1. If the college revokes consent after the first semester of Year 1 and the faculty member is underloaded in Year 1, the faculty member will be paid his or her full salary in Year 1.
