RIGHT OF NON-DISCRIMINATION. The provisions of this Contractual Agreement and the wages, hours, terms and conditions of employment shall be applied in a manner which is not arbitrary, capricious, or discriminatory and which is in compliance with both the Illinois Human Rights Act (775IL CS 5) and Board Policy which include, but are not limited to, freedom from discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, marital status, physical or mental handicap, military status, or unfavorable discharge from military service in connection with employment. A Faculty Member affected by this section may utilize the grievance procedure, but both the Faculty Member and the Association waive their right to any other remedy if arbitration is initiated.
