Right of Transportation Supervisor to Reject a Sign-Up. The Transportation Supervisor may reject a sign-up for an extra trip if the extra trip conflicts with the regular route and there is an extra trip available that does not conflict.

Department of Transportation Bridge Maintenance employees, when actually climbing the cable stays of the Penobscot Narrows Bridge for inspection and/or repair, shall be compensated at the rate of ten dollars ($10.00) an hour in addition to their regular hourly rate of pay. Employees shall be compensated for a minimum of one (1) hour of such work regardless of the length of the climbing assignment.
Right to Refuse Unsafe Work Employees have the right to refuse to perform unsafe work pursuant to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations of the Workers Compensation Act.
