Common use of Right to Arbitration Clause in Contracts

Right to Arbitration. ‌ When a grievance has been presented and has not been dealt with to the satisfaction of the Alliance, the Alliance may refer such grievance to arbitration if it is a complaint concerning: (a) the interpretation, application, or alleged violation of the collective agreement, including discipline, discharge or separation of employment for any reason whatsoever; (b) any alteration of an existing working condition concerning the payment to an employee of a premium, an allowance or other financial benefit, or any discriminatory application of such premium, allowance or financial benefit.
