Membership Drives Sample Clauses

Membership DrivesUpon request and subject to normal security limitations, the Union shall be granted authority to conduct up to two membership drives at any location within a 1-year period, up to 45-days duration each, before and after duty hours, and at break periods and lunch periods. Upon request, Management shall provide the Union with available, reasonable, and visible space; tables; bulletin boards; and easels for use in drives. Current government communication technologies shall be made available in accordance with Article 7.
Membership DrivesUpon request and subject to security requirements, the Union will be provided reasonable access to Employer facilities for membership drives. Upon request, the Employer will provide tables, chairs, easels, video equipment, electronic devices, and other office amenities if available. The Employer agrees to announce over the PA system, for the Union, information regarding Union membership drives the same as other organizational announcements. The Union will provide for the purpose of the announcement the date, time, location, and purpose of the meeting. Employees who attend membership drives must do so while on annual leave, LWOP, compensatory time off, during their break, lunch or before or after their working hours.
Membership Drives. The Department agrees to provide adequate facilities for membership drives at locations that will provide access to unit employees during break and lunch periods. Detailed arrangements will be negotiated at the local level. At a minimum, the Union will be given the use of facilities at least equal to that provided to other organizations/vendors or Department sponsored functions. The Department agrees that the Union may access employee meal or break areas during membership drives.

Membership Drives. 2.1. Subject to availability, the Agency agrees to provide a reasonable amount of space for annual membership drives, at agreed upon locations that will provide access to Employees during break and lunch periods.
Membership DrivesThe Union will be given access to conference rooms and auditoriums for meetings requiring the size and space necessary for union meetings and membership drives, before or after duty hours or during lunch periods if such space is not already committed. Meetings must occur within designated building access hours. The Union may conduct virtual meetings using available Agency virtual methods before or after duty hours or during lunch periods. The Union will follow the same reservation process and procedures as all other users.
Membership DrivesUpon request and subject to normal security limitations, the Union will be permitted to conduct up to ten (10) membership drives of up to three (3) days each per calendar year. Participation in these drives, by both Union representatives and employees, will not occur during duty time, e.g. will occur before and after work hours and during scheduled break periods and lunch periods. The Agency will provide tables and easels for the use of the Union drive if available.
Membership DrivesUpon request to the appropriate labor relations officer and subject to normal security limitations and Federal Property Management Regulations (Subpart 101-20.7), the Union will be authorized to conduct membership drives at any duty location with bargaining unit employees. Such drives may be held either twice a calendar year for up to 10 working days or once a calendar year for up to 20 working days. They may be conducted before and after duty hours and at break periods and lunch periods. Upon request and if available the Employer will provide the Union with reasonable and visible non-work space, tables, chairs, easels, and audiovisual equipment. Reasonable use of internal mail shall be available in accordance with Article 5.
Membership DrivesSolicitation of membership shall be conducted during the nonduty hours of the employee involved. The Union may conduct one (1) on- base membership drive each calendar year not to exceed forty-five (45) days in length. The Employer will be given twenty (20) days advance notice to meet with the Union prior to the beginning of the drive to arrange for an on-base meeting place. Two (2) distributions of recruiting literature in the working area may be made with a minimum of three (3) days notice provided to the Employer.
