Common use of Right to Determine Grades Clause in Contracts

Right to Determine Grades. A faculty member will have the sole right to determine the grades of students enrolled in his/her classes within the grading policies of the College. An exception may be made only if the faculty member is incapacitated, deceased, no longer employed by the College, or unavailable for an extended period of time. Such exceptions must have the approval of the faculty member’s xxxx and the chief academic officer.
