Rights and Responsibilities of Teachers in the PAR Program. a) Nothing in this Article or the PAR Program shall diminish the rights granted to teachers under Section 6-202 of the Education Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, relative to suspension and dismissal, and the right to appeal such personnel actions. b) MCEA unit members participating in the PAR Program, as consulting teachers or as members of the PAR Panel, shall be indemnified and held harmless by the Board against any and all claims arising as a result of their actions within the scope of their duties.
