Rights of Excluded Employees Entering the Bargaining Unit. Employees who have accepted positions outside the bargaining unit do not accrue seniority in the bargaining unit when employed in positions outside of the bargaining unit, but may retain prior seniority earned in the bargaining unit. Employees who are laid off from a position outside the bargaining unit shall have bumping rights into a position in this bargaining unit in a class or equivalent class in which the employee previously served or in a position for which the employee is determined to be qualified by the Employer only under the following conditions:
