Common use of Rights of Non-Association Clause in Contracts

Rights of Non-Association. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this 28 Agreement, the Association and Hospital shall safeguard the rights of non-association 29 by nurses based on bona fide religious tenets or teachings of a church or religious body 30 of which such nurse is a member. Such nurse shall pay an amount of money equivalent 31 to the regular Association dues to a non-religious charity or to another charitable 32 organization mutually agreed upon by the nurse and the Association, and the nurse 33 shall furnish written proof to the Hospital, that this has been done.
