Common use of Rights of Non-Association Clause in Contracts

Rights of Non-Association. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Agreement, the Association and Hospital shall safeguard the rights of non-association by nurses based on bona fide religious tenets or teachings of a church or religious body of which such nurse is a member. Such nurse shall pay an amount of money equivalent to the regular Association dues to a non religiousnon-religious charity or to another charitable organization mutually agreed upon by the nurse and the Association, and the nurse shall furnish written proof to the Hospital, that this has been done.
